Some people still hear the dial-up sound in their dreams. They remember saving everything to a floppy disk, drawing pixel art in a paint program and waiting for a progress bar that never moved. If that is your gift person, retro computer stationery is an easy win: instantly recognizable, a little nostalgic and actually useful on a modern desk.
Here are 14 retro tech and Y2K picks from our designs, from error windows to floppy disks to a glossy pink computer mouse. Every pad is $5.99, 3 x 3 inches with 50 sheets. For the full lineup, browse our retro computer & Y2K sticky notes.

Gift ideas for the retro tech fan
- Build a “desktop” set. Combine one error window, one floppy disk and one program window, and you have a little retro computer on paper. Three pads cost less than $18.
- Match their generation. Gray dialog boxes and floppy disks for people who grew up in the 90s; pastel Y2K designs for people who love the look more than the memories.
- Pair with something on-theme. A pixel keychain, a retro game, or a mix of songs from the year they got their first computer.

Quick answers
What is a good gift for someone who loves retro computers?
Something they will recognize instantly and use every day. Retro computer sticky notes look like the dialog boxes and floppy disks they remember, and they live on the desk instead of a shelf.
What is the difference between retro tech and Y2K style?
Retro tech usually means 80s and 90s computers: gray windows, pixel fonts and floppy disks. Y2K style is the glossy, translucent and pastel look of the late 90s and early 2000s.
How big are the pads?
Each pad is 3 x 3 inches (7.5 x 7.5 cm) with 50 sheets that share the same design.
